Buttermilk Fried Chicken Nugs

Ingredients
- 3 lbs Chicken
MARINADE FOR 3 LBS CHICKEN (NUGGET SIZE)
- 1 pint Buttermilk
- 1 tbsp Dry Oregano
- 1 tsp Smoked Paprika
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Dry Thyme
- 1/2 tsp Ground Mustard
- 1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper
- 20 cracks Freshly Ground Black Pepper
BREADING
- 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 tbsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tbsp Garlic Salt
- 1 tbsp Dry Oregano
- 1 tsp Cayenne Pepper
- 1 tsp Smoked Paprika
- 1 tsp Ground Mustard
- 1/2 tsp White Pepper
DIPPING SAUCE
- 1/2 cup Kewpie Mayo
- 2 tsp Sriracha
- 1 tbsp Sesame Oil
- 1 tbsp Minced Garlic
- 1 pack Blue Roots Cannabis Sugar
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients together for marinade. Place chicken in marinade and refrigerate overnight.
- The next day, preheat deep fryer to 350 F degrees.
- Mix dry ingredients. Transfer into paper grocery bag (use two bags to minimize chance of bag ripping).
- Take about 12-15 pieces, place in paper bag, fold over the top of the bag and shake until pieces of chicken are fully coated.
- Shake excess flour off pieces of chicken. Place in fryer for about 10 minutes or until chicken is cooked through and outside is crispy golden brown.
- Serve with sauce on the side.
