Buttermilk Fried Chicken Nugs

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs Chicken

MARINADE FOR 3 LBS CHICKEN (NUGGET SIZE)

  • 1 pint Buttermilk
  • 1 tbsp Dry Oregano
  • 1 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Dry Thyme
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Mustard
  • 1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 20 cracks Freshly Ground Black Pepper

BREADING

  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 tbsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tbsp Garlic Salt
  • 1 tbsp Dry Oregano
  • 1 tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 1 tsp Ground Mustard
  • 1/2 tsp White Pepper

DIPPING SAUCE

  • 1/2 cup Kewpie Mayo
  • 2 tsp Sriracha
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 1 tbsp Minced Garlic
  • 1 pack Blue Roots Cannabis Sugar

Instructions

  • Mix all ingredients together for marinade. Place chicken in marinade and refrigerate overnight.
  • The next day, preheat deep fryer to 350 F degrees.
  • Mix dry ingredients. Transfer into paper grocery bag (use two bags to minimize chance of bag ripping).
  • Take about 12-15 pieces, place in paper bag, fold over the top of the bag and shake until pieces of chicken are fully coated.
  • Shake excess flour off pieces of chicken. Place in fryer for about 10 minutes or until chicken is cooked through and outside is crispy golden brown.
  • Serve with sauce on the side.
  • Get high!
